 Popular festivals in Colombia are rich in culture, full of rhythm, joy and color. The country has a long list of fairs and festivals that are celebrated throughout all the municipalities of the country.

Some of the festivities in Colombia have more than a century of tradition, which makes them a tourist attraction. So that you can enjoy the authentic flavor of the country, I recommend the following events in Colombia.

The Independence Fair   

In November, the Independence Fair is held in Bolívar, in which the National Beauty Contest of Colombia takes place. During the festival there is a parade of whalers, a parade of swimsuits, concerts and a Popular Reign.

Cali's fair

The Cali Fair is undoubtedly the event that attracts the most visitors and tourists to that region of the country. Between December 25 and 30, this Fair has been held since 1957. Among all the events that may take place in Colombia, the Vallenato International Legend Festival or Vallenato Festival is the star.
