 El Cocuy National Natural Park

Framed in the Andes mountain range is the El Cocuy National Natural Park. The Nevado del Cocuy, protagonist of the Sierra Nevada de Güicán, is accompanied by several snow-capped peaks: Campanillas Blanco, Pan de Azúcar, Púlpito del Diablo, Cóncavos, Ritakuwas and Güicán, among others, forming a row that reaches the Laguna Grande de the Greens.

Serranía de la Macarena National Park

Serranía de Chiribiquete National Natural Park



One million hectares in the middle of the jungle in the departments of Guaviare and Caquetá were declared the Serranía de Chiribiquete National Natural Park. In its more than 4 million hectares of territory it is home to a wide diversity of Amazonian fauna and flora. The mountain system that comprises it ranges from 200 to 400 meters above sea level and in the middle of those mountains, majestic works of rock painting 20 thousand years old were found that can be visited by those who attend the Park and that are a sample of human existence. in the territory.
